Dissolve former dermal fillers
Liporase (hyaluronidase) is a vial that can be used to dissolve hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal fillers that have been placed incorrectly, excessively, or unevenly. Liporase can also be used in emergency situations where dermal filler has been injected into an artery, causing the occlusion of one’s blood supply.
To remove filler, Liporase should be injected into the skin to dissolve the HA acid found within dermal fillers. To increase the effects of the injection, Liporase can be added to a fat melting injection. It can also be combined with a local anesthetic. To use Liporase, first mix 3cc of saline into 1 vial of Hyaluronidase. This will dissolve 3cc of hyaluronic acid. Liporase should be injected, along with lidocaine for numbing relief, into the area where the filler needs to be dissolved.
Hyaluronic acid filler will start dissolving immediately and will be entirely absorbed by the body within a few hours. Massage the treatment area for 15 minutes daily for the length of one week. Apply a warm compress to the treatment area after the massage. Please note that there have been a few reports that some people may have an allergy to hyaluronidase, which happens to those who are allergic to bee stings.
